Benefits of Whitley Bay u3a membership

Being a member of our u3a gives you access to 44 interest groups, covering a wide range of educational, interest and socially based activities. You also get access to National u3a, which includes a wide range of online talks, presentations and learning opportunities.

Our membership year runs from April 1st to March 31st.

We offer two types of membership:

Full membership - The annual fee is £20. As a committee it was agreed that the last two months, February and March only, would be £10, as the new membership starts in April.

Associate membership - If you are a member of another u3a, the annual fee is £16.00. Similar to the full membership, if you join in the last two months your fee will be £10.

Gift Aid - If you are eligible for Gift Aid, are joining as a couple and are paying by BACS, will you please make two separate payments? This will allow us to claim for both memberships.
