The Whitley Bay u3a monthly meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, at 2:00pm. We meet at Linskill Centre, Linskill Terrace, North Shields, NE30 2AY.
All members are welcome to come and enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits socialising with existing members in an informal atmosphere.
Prospective members are also welcome to attend a meeting to see what is involved and talk to the committee, group leaders, and other members.
The events are published at least a month in advance and are featured on the website, in the monthly newsletter, by email and at the monthly meetings.

Local Transport:
There is a bus stop near to the centre on Linskill Terrace which is on the 306 bus route. This service runs 1 bus per hour to and from Whitley Bay to Newcastle. From Marden Est to and from Newcastle the bus is every 20 Minutes.
Other buses with a more frequent service arrive outside the law courts on Tynemouth Road at the end of Linskill Terrace and can take you to Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Blyth, Howdon, Wallsend and beyond.
