The Bookworms group meet for an hour in St Mary’s Room, (first floor). We selected 12 Books for the year from the Library’s Book Group list, however, the ones we have received have not always been ones on our list. The subject matter has been quite eclectic, which is good and enjoyed by the group members. Some books have been a little bit challenging but only one, so far, was so challenging that most of the members gave up on it. The great thing about being in a book group is that you read books on topics that you probably wouldn’t normally be drawn to and the discussions are all the richer for it.

We have a cuppa and biscuits and plenty of chat. We pay £6 for six months of meetings.

This group is now full and cannot accept any more members at the moment. However, spaces may arise in the future.
