We are a friendly and relaxed group which meet at Newcastle Building Society in Whitley Bay on the third Thursday of each month at 11 am. We usually choose a poetic theme and bring in relevant poems of our choice. Recent topics have been Humour, The Sea, Childhood and Winter. We read and discuss the poems. There is no necessity to know anything about poetry before you join. Just come along and enjoy.
